- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to patients of varying ages and needs.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans targeting communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—including educators, therapists, and healthcare providers—to ensure coordinated care.
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans accurately and promptly in compliance with organizational and state requirements.
- Educate patients, caregivers, and families on therapy techniques, home exercises, and strategies for communication success.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to maintain best practices in the field.
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility) in the state of South Dakota.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
